What I’m Wearing: French Connection Printed Trousers

A little while ago now I received a lovely email asking if I’d like to try an item from French Connection’s Autumn/Winter range.

French Connection is one of those labels that I love for that something special. Their clothes are well designed, well thought out and great quality. I have the perfect black jumpsuit from them that I can wear time and time again. I’d also buy one of their winter coats in every colour available.

Unfortunately for me, I’m more of less flat broke these days so can no longer splurge on the finer things in life. With that said, you can see why I emailed YES back straight away.

I was originally looking at the dresses and jumpers thinking of something easy, but as the work wife (damn her for popping up) advised, get something you wouldn’t normally buy for yourself.

Trousers. The dreaded T-word. You see I have an incredibly long body, meaning that high-waisted is never really that, I also have hips and an arse. Neither of which are in a rush to go anywhere. This means buying trousers can only be described as a nightmare. But I decided other than a confidence knock, I had nothing to lose. Ordering a size up (which I’m glad about as they skim my hips perfectly, resulting a more casual, relaxed look) I took the plunge, with these sub zero slim fit trousers.

Trousers, French Connection. Tee, ASOS. Blazer, Topshop. Shoes, Topshop
These trousers are becoming a wardrobe staple at the moment, especially with the ever-changing weather.

I have the perfect grey suede wedged boots that would go perfectly with these. At the moment i’m loving teaming them with casual oversized tees and flats, perfect for running around town.

Thanks French Connection.
